Commenting on the same, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday stated the reason for farmer protest as a ‘non-issue’. The issues farmers are raising in protest are all ‘non-issues’ said Khattar while addressing media. He further said that by not selling vegetables and wheat for 10days, their own families are going to suffer. The farmers all over the country came together on Friday and led a protest against the Modi government over their 4 major demands.

The most important demand is loan waver

They should get 1.5 times value over the cost of crop

One income should be fixed for small farmers

Fruit, vegetable, milk should get 1.5 times profit value The protest declared by Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Mahasangh, has the support of 135 groups and is likely to go on for 10 days.
